That was the last day My Z went out on the open roads and was free. Before that day as you may recall. I had many issues with clutch system's. From RPS, to Clutch Master to South Bend, spent thousands just trying to get it right. Broke down on the side of the road over and over, flatbed rides home, etc. Then the tranny went, no second gear. So I went off and did other things in life. I was fed up with the car, but I would never sell it. So I went and got back into my first passion in life, which was drums. Bought my dream kit. Bought another TT Z, while the Black one was still down. Just so I could still drive a Z TT. But sold it not long after because I didn't feel the same for that it as my Black baby. Then went after another breed of Sports cars ( Supra ). But it doesn't have the affect the Black Z has on me. Then months after buying the Supra, I decided to get back into Old Blackie. I went and bought yet another clutch system for it ( 4th one in a year ). This time a twin disc system. Loaded it up on a flatbed and hauled it off to TQ Freaks. Then drove it home a day later. I felt really good about driving the car again. So much that I set our club up with a Z Dyno day. So I went early that day and got on the Dyno first. This was the cars first outing in 2 years by that point. All hooked up ready to go, hit that gas and something's wrong! I was like, WTH now! Hit it again, same affect, last pull same slow low power pulls. So we did a quick trouble shoot only to find the number 4 cylinder was dead. The injector was gone. So again the Z came back home and sat, and sat. I went after building the Supra first because by that point I wanted a fast, RELIABLE sports car. So a year went by. The Z has just sat there in the garage doing nothing. I'd look over at it at times and think. Think of all the good times and not really about the bad. I miss it, really I do. So here recently I started at it again. This time going after the injector problem and like any issue I've ever had or part I've upgraded with this car I've done. I replaced most everything around it. That's what upset me so much years before, was the car was like brand new around all the issue's it was having. So I wanted to get this thing on the road so bad, I decided with a broke hand in a cast, that I was going to go pull the upper intake, valve cover's and all. Just to get this thing started. So this time for the injector's, I went with a 740cc conversion, new machined lower intake. All new connectors, rails and sent just about everything under the hood off to be chromed. Got a new JWT ECU with dual Pop's, raised rev to 7950rpm's, no AIV's. All in the hopes that this time the car will stay on the road for some time. Even though I know the Turbo's will be next and that's ok. I just want to drive it again. It's truly my favorite car I've ever owned. Sorry for any type-O's. I have a broke right hand :) random picture's of the events Here's the very last picture before the car broke ( Nov 2002 ). I got out, took this picture and the clutch broke right after. I had to push the car two blocks home.
The dream drum kit
The short term fix Z
The new direction for the time being. I bought this 5 years after the Z. Oddly enough I got it 5 minute's away from the place where I bought the Z 5 years earlier up in Seattle. Odd is it not?

The day I decided to put the new Twin disc clutch system in and get this car on the road again.

The day I found out the car is dead again. I had just spent another $1600 on it for the clutch and install. Car still pulled 300rwhp & 344rwtq on 5 cylinder's ;)
The rest of the story picks up here. [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1552333 ] This is why many of you don't hear about my Z adventure's so much. There hasn't been any recently in the last few years.
